TPLF Fired More than 50 Employees from the Ethiopian Airlines

The Ethiopian Airlines has fired over 50 employees, who refused to be  members of the ruling party, EPRDF. Insiders from the Airlines informed ESAT that some of the employees fired or suspended had served the organization for about 30 years. The manager of Sheba Miles, one of the departments of EAL, Mr. Abdul Jebar Hamid was fired and arrested in connection with the ongoing Ethiopian Muslims’ protest in the country. Abdul was accused of making a call to Muslims who work in EAL to join the Protest.

The CEO of EAL , Mr. Tewlede G/Mariam , is criticized for staffing the long serving airline with young members of the ruling party. Some of the  employees fired of suspended include Abduljebar Hamid, Akalu Assefa, Antensay Amare, Bethelehem Tefera, Bethelhem Getachew, Eden Beye, Eden Kassaye, Iman Yassin, Samuel Endale, Solomon Bekele, Yirgalem Tadesse, Aida Zeleul, Amanuel Belesti, Amanuel Negash, Amanuel Tsegaw, Andualem Girma, Berhanu Solomon, Cherenet Alemu, Daniel Gebeyehu, Eden Muluwork, Enu Gebregziabher, Haimanot Negussie, Hirut Melese, Kidist Abera, Kinfemichael Shigutie, Mathyas Admassu, Mekdes Abera, Melat Asrat, Tinigert Demissie, Samrawit Geremew, Samrawit Geremew, Semira Aman Sherif, Tezera work Hailu, Wendwosen Habte,   and Yohannes Fisseha.
